Main IndexWhy Advertise in the Glimmerglass Opera Program Book?

We know you want the most for your advertising dollar: the biggest impact possible with the best results possible. The Glimmerglass Opera Program Book remains the single most useful tool in our area to reach a broad cross-section of consumers, ranging from local residents to international tourists and opera aficionados. By placing your advertisement with us, you will be reaching this unique and growing audience.

Results of a recent survey show that Glimmerglass Opera attracts patrons who have an income of $50,000 or more. The survey also shows that our audience remains within the area for two, three and four days at a time in order to see all four operas. This is an audience of consumers who have the buying power to enjoy fine things.

This summer we are presenting Puccini's Tosca, a guaranteed sellout, Verdi's  Falstaff, Handel's Partenope, and Virgil Thomson's The Mother of Us All, a salute to Susan B. Anthony.

Our 1998 Glimmerglass Opera Program Book will be of the same high quality that you have come to expect.  We hope you will take advantage of this advertising opportunity. If you reserve and pay for your advertising space by April 27, 1998, you will receive the early bird rate, a benefit we consistently offer our advertisers.  We have extended this deadline specially for you, but you must respond by that date..

If you have any questions or would like to make a space reservation, please contact Tara Barnwell at (607) 547-5704. We look forward to your support of Glimmerglass Opera's 24th Festival Season.
